The designation recognizes the highest level of breastfeeding support a hospital can offer to moms and babies.

Advocate Trinity Hospital is equipped to provide the treatment moms and babies need when facing a high-risk pregnancy or complications. Our services include:
- Care for expectant mothers with diabetes, fibroids, heart disorders and other chronic or emergency conditions.
- State-of-the-art monitoring and testing, including fetal monitoring, ultrasound, amniocentesis, oxytocin challenge testing (OCT) and nonstress testing (NST).
- 1:1 nurse-patient ratio that provides the best delivery support for high-risk mothers.
- Level II plus special care nursery that provides advanced care for critically ill or premature babies. Maternal health navigation services at select locations
We’re committed to supporting you at every stage of your pregnancy. That’s why we’re proud to offer maternal health navigation services at select OB-GYN offices throughout South Chicago.
These services provide prenatal care coordination for women facing a high-risk pregnancy. This includes women with complex obstetric histories, certain pregnancy-related diagnoses, elevated depression screening scores or significant social challenges.

1-to-1 Nursing: Advocate Trinity Hospital offers a high level of support with a 1:1 nurse-patient ratio.
Visitors to Labor and delivery: Your partner/support person and one additional support person can be with you during labor. Your partner/support person can stay overnight. Other family members wait in the family waiting areas.
Postpartum visitors: Only two visitors are allowed in the maternity suite at one time. You can make special visiting arrangements for siblings by contacting the nursing staff. Visiting hours are 8 am to 10 pm daily.
